1961 Cub Cadet Summer 2011 Raffle

 
Restoration of a 1961 Cub Cadet, original model, serial number 23434, garden tractor was begun in late 2010 and finished in early Spring 2011.  The restoration was performed by Scottsville Rotary club members with major support from local business Caledonia Diesel.  The restoration was coordinated by a Scottsville Rotarian who has many years of experience doing similar work.  The restoration effort was also actively supported by an expert in Cub Cadet garden tractors who donated the 1961 model for use in this fund raising project. 
 
 
 
The fully restored tractor is now ready for the raffle.

Raffle tickets were available from Scottsville Rotarians and at regional area farm shows and tractor events.
 
Raffle tickets were available from Rochester and Finger Lakes Region Rotarians with a portion of the sale proceeds going to District 7120 programs.
 
Mail requests for raffle tickets received by September 1st, with check made out to Scottsville Rotary Service Foundation, PO Box 85, Scottsville, NY 14546 will be entered in the drawing.
 
Drawing was held Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Alexander Gas and Steam Show
 
The winning raffle ticket owner may choose to accept $1,500 in lieu of the tractor.
